Primary school is the foundation of education. We believe that the best way to prevent future barriers to learning is to emphasise bridging gaps in foundational knowledge. Children learn best in a safe, supportive environment.
Our teachers provide focused support and intervention above and beyond curriculum requirements, and our classes are kept to a maximum of 16 learners per class, to ensure our teachers can pay attention to each learner’s interests, abilities, and personality. Between our educators and parents, we want our partnership in education to help learners to develop as independent thinkers and critical readers; as young people with healthy self-esteem.
Our Eco Club’s vision and purpose is to promote environmentally-conscious learners. We run various eco projects and outings during the year to show learners how to respect the environment and live sustainably. An example of this is the vegetable garden run by our Eco Club learners. This has encouraged some of our learners to grow their own vegetables and herbs at home.
A healthy body makes a healthy mind. We have daily sports periods with the dual aim of promoting healthy development and burning off some excess energy! The school also offers a range of extra-curricular programmes which include athletics, hockey, netball, soccer, cross-country and chess.
At our Edu-Centre, we offer homework classes as well as supervised activities (weekdays 13:30 – 18:00).
